MIRACLE IN COLLINGWOOD
This project is an excellent example of infill housing, where we removed an old, dilapidated home and replaced it with these modern townhouses. Making use of contemporary materials such as grided aluminium look matrix cladding, this striking façade truly stands out in the inner-city street in Collingwood. Both the clients and ourselves were truly amazed at just how much we managed to achieve on this “postage stamp” sized site. The 3 units all provide independent living environments with north facing, open planned living spaces and outdoor terraces being drenched in natural light year-round. Each dwelling includes 2 double bedrooms, and residence 1 boasts its own fully equip master suite. Internal courtyards introduce greenery and light into shared spaces, increasing the sense of comfort and luxury to what would be purely functional spaces in other townhouses. To top off the project we were able to accommodate a lockup garage for unit 1, something that significantly increased the value of the project.
